Check this out. Early on in my quest to get some Dogecoin for my son and I, I began to get really frustrated. Many of the exchanges will not do business in my state because of the state regulations. I felt like the cause was lost, so in order to not disappoint my son I thought it would be cool to see if anyone had made any collectible Dogecoins.
To my pleasant surprise I found some on Ebay.

I love physical coins so I didn’t hesitate to buy a couple. There seems to be a variety of minters who made these in limited supplies. I ended up buying some that were minted in 2014 by a now defunct company called Crypto Memorabilia.

The real collectibles though appear to be the official copper coins by Shibe Mint. If they have the official certificate with the coin they seem to currently be around $200! (I didn’t pay that much for the coins I bought although I have purchased copper bullion in the past. These might be a cool addition to my collection.)
