Open terminal and go to the folder where you have the appimage or the run_electrum file.
And then:
$ ./electrum-4.0.2-x86_64.AppImage make_seed --nbits=256 --offline $ ./run_electrum make_seed --nbits=256 --offline
Both commands will output the seed into the terminal.
Open the GUI and then create a wallet using this seed and choose options to add an extra
word.
The extra word should have at least 32 chars with high entropy.
