Making Wine!

By ArmFarm | Murchison Farm | 24 Jun 2019

Hello Everyone! I hope you are having a Blessed and Beautiful day!

I have started a new project today. I am in the initial stages of making Blueberry wine! I am excited to get this process on the road, but it does take a little patience and preperation. I do not like to use plastics, because of the possiblity of leaching  chemicals into my wine, so I have searched for and found an old fashioned butter churn, to do my initial fermentation in, and a big glass jug for the final fermentation.

Currently I am sanatizing, my churn, in a solution of bleach and water. After I have thoroughly rinsed the container, and removed all traces of the bleach smell, I will mash up my blueberries and add sugar water. I will let that mixture set overnight and add yeast tomorrow. The yeast will start the fermentation process.

As I continue the process I will update you with my next steps. Wish me good luck!

Thanks for your time, attention, and your interest!
