Anytime you branch off into a new business, there is some type of learning curve!

Hello Everyone, I hope You are having a Blessed and Prosperous day!

I have collected Coins for a very long time! I have a respectable number of years where I have actively pursued buying and trading Collectible Coins. A fairly good amount of time participating in online Coin Auctions. I have gained quite a bit of experience, by making mistakes, learning the do's and dont's, and trying to polish my abilities to pick up coins that are somewhat undervalued. Although I have sold a few Coins, at auction before, I do not have a great amount of experience, from that perspective.

I thought that it would probably be very, very much like buying, just a little different. I see a great opportunity to do some things, that will require a little cash liquidity. So I decided to start selling Items on Ebay. The concept is Solid Enough! So, me being me, I jumped straight in! I have a pretty good number, of items, listed. Learning to list them and navigate through Ebay's menu system involved a fairly short learning curve. So far, So Good! Then I get impatient, a fault I sometimes struggle with, and started listing some nicer coins, that would be very good investments, should Precious Metal's prices make a big jump up! (And Yes, that is a very good possibility, when all of the liberal dominated economies start dropping like flies in a World Wide Recession/depression) It even becomes more of a probability, when one considers all of the fiat that is being flooded into the economies of nations, that form critical members of world commerce! The Laws of Economics will take effect at some point and time, where money printed on paper in massive waves as it is in today's world, becomes as worthless as the paper it is printed on. It has happened before, and will most likely raise it's ugly head again! It is not so very hard to see all of the major factors that strongly indicate it! All you really have to do is some research, and use some common sense when you compare common factors linked between past events and today's events. The value of today's currency has been seriously deflated over past few years! Simply look at how much some of your favorite items have risen in cost compared to a few years ago! If you put money in savings accounts, You have lost a big chunk of that spending power! It Has Been Eroded!

Enough of that. Either you know, or you have become a little bit more aware, or you are interested and doing more research! At this point, I won't touch on any of the other prospects.

The point, I would like to make now, is that in this learning curve, I have made a serious mistake of undervaluing some coins, by starting the opening bid at such a low level. It is true that you attract buyers quickly, but, if you are not able to convey the True Quality, of Your Item, with photos that equal(or come close) to sharing their Real Eye Appeal, You have a much smaller chance of getting top dollar they deserve! I believe one of the biggest contributors to the lengthening of my learning curve, is the fact that I have always excelled, in selling items, within an environment where I make eye to eye, person to person sales! I know I sell quality items, at fair prices, and the person directly looking at the item, knows it is worth what I am asking!

Add the factors that I am new to selling, on Ebay, and have to build a reputation with buyers, as well as technical issues involving getting the best image into my listing, to the other challanges and I will have sold some Trophy Coins well below what they would have brought, compared to showing them to serious Numismatist in person!

The people who win these Beautiful Toned Coins, will know what treasures they have truly won, when they get to see them in person! The Toning's Unique colors are truly pleasing to behold! Unless I am in a very tight financial position, I have learned to price the True Treasures closer to what they are worth. I won't be able to stay in this business for very long, if I loose them for less than what I paid!

In short, the learning curves never stop for me. I am always seeking ways to correct mistakes, learn the lessons, and move forward!

The following is a perfect example of a Coin that I should have held back, until I have established my Ebay Sellers Reputation! People who seek Beautifully Toned Coins, in a serious manner, do not hesitate to pay the premium for Treasures like these! Alas, I regret listing this Treasure so early in this new venture. Soon I will loose a Coin that will be impossible to replace, at these prices! Like they say, you live and you learn!

I have added a couple more photos, but they all fail in even a hint of this Beautiful Toning. A friend was able to capture it earlier, but it was lost, in the transfer to my phone. Back a few years ago, I was blessed to win this Coin in an auction, for right around $135. I had spent hours lowballing bids on high quality coins. All the other comparable coins sold for much higher prices! If this Coin is not the Purple, Blue, and just a hint of Black, I will happily accept your return! Some of those comparably Toned and Graded Coins sold for well north of $800. The lowest price, excluding this one, was close to $400.

Ebay is not providing an option to revise and change the Return option, on this listing. It also caught me attention that they guarantee returns on items that do not match their descriptions. So selecting return would be redundant, and unnecessary on this Morgan Collectors Exceptional Acquisition! I can see that my Trophy Toned Coins will be slow to take off and sell for their True Potential, here on Ebay. The Proud Owners, who get this current round of Beautiful Toned Coins, will surely come back for more! There will be no more of These Trophies starting at 99 cents! From this point forward, I will have to ask for a much higher starting bid. If You Become the Satisfied owner of One, or more, of these Toned Beauties, Please include your impression in your feedback. If You are not satisfied, please contact me as soon as possible.

If You love the Beautiful Pieces of Art, that these types of Toned Coins Offer, You will certainly appreciate this one!

You owe it to yourself to take a look, by following this link! What appears to be black, in these photos, is actually a combination of colors, to your eyes, ranging from a blackish shading close to the rim, to beautiful shades of purple and blue. And Yes, I have asked what it appears like in their sight, LOL! You will only appreciate the true eye appeal, of this coin, when you see it face to face! If you decide to bid, Good Luck!

This Auction Ends on Wednesday, February 5th!
