Learn from history it’s a good tip
Actually this is a fact, history has the habit of repeat once in a while. So we have to take advantage of this and be smart and learn from the issues that already happened.
One very nice form of know past events without read all the Wikipedia – that albeit is a good idea because Wikipedia is free and just need internet! – is to watching movies, so while you enjoy your free time are learning something you probably never hear before.

The History
Happened in 2008, the bigger economic fraud in USA history, made by a very important, famous, and respectable broker, stock investor, investment and financier advisor: Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff.
Member of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) was one of the drivers of the development of the NASDAQ. His firm managed big amounts of money from Banks, companies even Non Profit Organizations and particulars.
The fraud consisted in collect funds from their investors bringing them good profits in the first years but all was only a big Ponzi scheme. Fraud reached $ 64.8 billion and caused several grim damage to the patrimonium and life of a lot of people, including familiars from her wife and friends of them even their own youngest son did suicide two years later of that the scandal got to the justice.
Moral of the history
No matters how respectable, trustworthy and serious looks one person or company, when is offering so much pretty good profits ever and ever, indicates their business can probably be a scam, so only thing people can do is to be skeptical, make always your own research and don’t put all your founds in only one investment, and of course, never use money that you will need in future making risky investment.
