Moving On Up, Moving on Uplanding(part 5)

Sorry it has been so long but I promise to make up for it with some pretty important information!

So let's dive right in, first I was unsure before if as soon as you hit 100,000 UPX are you automatically graduated to the higher level or not (and no longer able to mint FSA properties) well the answer is YES. AS SOON AS YOU HIT 100,000 UPX VALUE YOU NO LONGER CAN BUY FSA (fair starting act properties are the ones kept available for "newer" players in cities) PROPERTIES! Which means if you decide to throw 100$ in from jump you will automatically be unable to get them. I personally flirted with the line between my own money and UPX from hunting all the way to 99,000, which I ended up going over when I put 10$ in to get a place in Chicago (the newest released city) and as soon as I did it I couldn't get the FSA property I was doing it to buy.

Which yes I can now also talk about a release of the "mega cities" (which is what I'm calling the larger cities i.e. Manhattan, San Francisco, and now Chicago. Which if you're gonna try to get into you'll definitely need two things

Money & Timing!!!!(I can't stress that enough) Have you're UPX up and be there literally at the very release of available properties because they are going to go fast, well at least any of the ones worth anything (as in major collection properties). The cities so far are released in two "waves" which means that a certain % is released, usually 1%, then 49%, and 49%, the remaining is used for some kind of event or give away. I was about 5 minutes late to the second wave which was already enough time to be too late to the party, so I'm hoping I can get lucky tonight which you will hear about one way or the other.

Another good thing to know that I've learned is that FSA properties are not actually cheaper properties just a % reserved for newer players is all, the prices for minting other properties is the same, personally I always thought they were cheaper which would make sense because it helps the newer players but I learned otherwise in Chicago.

Now the picture above is there for two reasons, one because I've been wanting to add some pictures to give you guys visuals and was unsure of how it worked on the mobile version of PublishOx, and two so you can see three things.

1- what FSA properties of look like

2-what unminted properties look like

3-what unreleased properties look like

And now this picture shows you what they look like when your explorer is within range of them.

1-white properties are unreleased

2-bright green are available for purchase(if they have FSA than only players below 100,000 UPX in value can buy or those with Visitor or Uplander Status not Pro or above)

3-dark green means they are for sale by owner, now a cool thing about that in the game is you never have to be within range of these to purchase, or even in the same city for that matter, but if you are playing on the mobile version of the game and the price reads "SEE WEB" it means you have to go on the desktop version of the game and but it for ca$h and not UPX

4-blue are already owned properties, which another cool thing is you can always "make an offer" to buy these properties at any time also, two things when you make an offer remember whatever you offer in UPX will be put in escrow making it unavailable to you to use till they either except or reject the offer, and two if your gonna attempt to low-ball someone look at the profile first, if there Pro or higher more than likely your wasting your time and locking up your money, but if not have at it, that is the point of the game so far.

5-grayish or greyish properties are those that can be minted but an explorer needs to be within range in order to do so (which either means using a send to an already minted property to be close enough or waiting for you explorer to get there, but remember they move randomly so if there's a specific place you want burn the send to get it)

So that is all for now fellow Uppers, if you haven't started playing yet and are still on the fence, the starting UPX is 4,500 (which is 1500 more than the norm) and if you use this link https://r.upland.me/JhAA you will get a 50% bonus on your first purchase of UPX, which I'll get a bonus too so thank you for that.

But really thank you regardless for reading along, it is appreciated, remember comment away, if you have questions or even your own tips, throw them in the comments and I will definitely address or add them to the next post! Which just to give a heads up I won't be able to get back to people or posting with my normal speed (starting a new job tomorrow that will make it very difficult to do this through out the week) but I will do my best!!!
