Here’s a story about commitment to a vision, although knowing me, it naturally involves a little profit, a lot of FOMO, some questionable decisions and an unhealthy amount of conviction.
I got my $QUANT from Meme Maxxers and, unlike some of my usual crypto adventures, I actually managed to sell for a profit. But that was only half the story, because I waited and bought more!
After I hit a 3x, took the profit and instead of doing the sensible thing and walking away, I immediately used those profits to buy even more $QUANT. My bag got bigger and bigger each day!
Because apparently making money is only satisfying if you can find a way to put it straight back into the market. Fast forward and I’m now sitting on 20 million tokens and DCAing constantly!
At this point, it’s less of an investment strategy and more of a long-running experiment into how much conviction one person can have before the market decides to humble them again.
Got into the position because I genuinely believe the AI swarm is inevitable. But that’s the thing about crypto, you don’t just buy a token, you end up buying into a story, a community and a vision!
Sometimes you find yourself holding a position far larger than the one you originally planned because you actually believe there’s something worth building. The $QUANT journey goes on!
Of course, my crypto journey wouldn’t be complete without the occasional unhinged DM, and my most unhinged one probably deserves to be preserved onchain for future historians.. of for a laugh.
“Dear Sam Bankman-Fried and Alex Mashinsky, I just wanted to say I hope prison is treating you well. You both managed to turn my crypto portfolio into a historical artifact, so I hope at least the prison barber gives you a fresh buzz.
No hard feelings. Actually, scratch that. Lots of hard feelings. Anyway, enjoy the haircut. I’ll be here explaining to people how I somehow trusted this industry.” Wish you the opposite of best!
Thanks for reminding me about those two villains, because apparently my crypto autobiography needed another chapter called Trust Issues. I wear the scars with pride, because I survived the rugs!
Somehow through all the chaos, the Jolly Jokers are still in the game. We might not be villains on purpose, but we can certainly sweep the floors with the Holy Spirit while pretending everything is completely under control.
There are always new opportunities with the mememaxxers. The Hold My JPGs campaign was amazing, so the question is simple! Are you locked in, or are you still pretending you’re going to join tomorrow?
Look Mum, my cat is a movie star. Naturally was one of the villains. Then there’s The Jester, which might genuinely be the most accurate autobiography I could have written... based on a true story!
There's one lifetime of bad decisions, JPEGs, prediction markets, FOMO, questionable trades, ridiculous DMs and somehow, against all odds, still being here. Are you ready for chapter two?
Honestly, it’s amazing what I can do for my author personality. I am writing this to mark it in space and time, as a relic of how bad I was at spotting a good project. Maybe I like to be rekt!
Give me a little crypto chaos, a few questionable financial decisions and a leaderboard campaign, and suddenly I’m writing the autobiography I never knew I had. PVM is the top cat!
