Kaito is back! I’ve spent enough time grinding crypto campaigns to know that every platform eventually figures out how to make farmers question their life choices. Kaito makes no difference.
For a long time, the game was simple. You posted, generated Mindshare, climbed the Yapper leaderboard and hoped the rewards justified the amount of time you spent arguing with strangers on Crypto Twitter.
It was chaotic, competitive and occasionally felt like a second job where the salary was paid in screenshots and questionable token allocations. But Kaito has moved on, mostly forced by Nikita!
The old Yaps era is effectively dead, and Kaito is building something that looks much more like a full attention economy. New dynamics were created instead of simply rewarding the people who can produce the most noise!
The platform is moving toward measuring influence, performance and the actual value creators bring to campaigns. That is where Katalyst comes into the picture, with a focus on efficiency and onchain actions!
Rather than having one giant leaderboard where everyone fights for attention, campaigns can define their own objectives and reward creators based on how effectively they perform.
Katalyst is basically Kaito’s new performance-driven creator layer. Mindshare and engagement still matter, but the focus is moving toward measurable campaign results rather than simply farming content for points.

Think of the difference as Yaps being the old school attention casino, while Katalyst is trying to turn the whole thing into an actual marketplace for attention... and then there is this new thing called Aura.
Aura is the newer piece of the puzzle, launched alongside Pulse, and it takes a broader approach to measuring a creator’s attention footprint. Kaito is trying to adapt to the modern days in Web3
Instead of asking only how much content you produced for one particular campaign, Aura is designed to give Kaito another way of understanding your overall influence and the quality of attention you generate.
Crypto Twitter has become incredibly good at producing content that technically looks like engagement but feels like someone put a motivational quote through a blender and sprinkled a ticker symbol on top.
More posts do not automatically mean more influence. Ten thousand impressions from people who immediately scroll past can be less valuable than a smaller audience that actually reads, replies, researches and acts.
That seems to be the direction Kaito is moving toward. The old mentality was post more, farm harder, climb higher. The new mentality is becoming build attention, create impact, perform and get rewarded for it.
For people who have been grinding campaigns like me, that changes the strategy completely. You cannot just throw twenty variations of the same “huge bullish ecosystem” post into the timeline and expect the algorithm to keep handing you points forever.

Kaito is essentially evolving from a platform where creators competed for Yaps into an infrastructure layer for the attention economy. Aura measures the broader attention footprint!
Then Katalyst connects creators with performance-based campaigns and rewards. Pulse pushes Kaito’s intelligence and attention tools further into the everyday browsing experience.
If Kaito can successfully separate genuine influence from industrial-scale posting, the winners may no longer be the people with the highest posting frequency. They could be the people who consistently understand a project, explain it better than everyone else, create conversations around it and turn attention into measurable results.
So yes, the Yaps meta changed. The grind did not disappear. It just evolved. Knowing crypto, there is probably already a guy somewhere running 47 accounts trying to farm Aura with AI-generated posts about why Katalyst is bullish.
PVM has entered the next meta and converted those +400 yaps into aura! Starting at 215 on this one and with a humble number of smart followers. Let's see if shouting has evolved into something better!
