Road to opening 1000 Chaos Legion Packs Week 48 Update

It's been a year since I started my 1k pack opening challenge in splinterlands, and I'm proud to say that I've finally reached my goal. Over the past year, I've opened 1000 Chaos Legion packs, and it's been quite a journey.

Financially, the challenge resulted in an overall loss of $800. This might not seem like the best outcome, and the smart money would've held onto the 1000 Chaos Legion packs, but I saw this as my way of long-term investing in the game.

This week, I had to purchase an additional 19 packs, which came to $40 (I did have one free pack from season rewards). As I have grown accustomed to, the pack opening didn't yield a profit, but I did manage to snag a legendary monster, plus two gold foil rare and epic monsters. These cards will fetch some decent DEC rental and will be a valuable addition to my deck.

Over the next few weeks, I will be looking to publish a summary post about the pack opening challenge. I'll also share some ideas for my next splinterlands challenge and how I plan to build upon this pack-opening challenge. Stay tuned!
