Another week has gone by in my challenge to open 1000 Chaos Legion packs, and I will closely monitor and transparently share all details about the challenge in these posts.

Road to opening 1000 Chaos Legion Packs Week 22 Update

When days are dark, gold foil legendaries are few :) That's all I am hoping for every time I open packs, but the savior hasn't shown itself after it magically appeared months ago. We are starting to see trends form as I am close to reaching 500 packs and almost 2000 Chaos Legion cards. Buying packs from retail (i.e., official splinterlands store) will likely result in negative profit and loss. Most packs have a lot of common and rare cards, and their prices are significantly suppressed at the moment. Yes, buying packs from the official splinterlands store does qualify you for airdrops which may be fruitful. 

Key Cards

A legendary monster card has a 0.78% chance to drop from a Chaos Legion pack. Therefore, when you open 20 packs (i.e., 100 cards), you expect at least one legendary monster card to drop. Since starting this challenge, the stats don't lie, as I have had at least one legendary at a minimum for every 20 packs. This week I got three legendary monster cards (!! anomaly :)) and continue to stack them to get them to a playable level across my main and alt accounts.
