Pea plants first blossom

Pruning, tuning, and flowers blooming.

Welcome back fellow Publish0x goers! This is the eighth installment in my medical cannabis grow blog series. It's Saturday and I'm dropping a second post this week! Though it's just to get everyone back on track with this grows timeline. My week off from being sick put a damper on getting them written. Let's stop wasting time...

...and dig into it.

In this update I'm going to show some of the pruning I've since flipping the plants into a flowering light schedule. It might not look like I pruned a lot up, but I did enough to help provide good air flow between the two cultivars. I was more worried about air flow through the Assorted Chocolates, because the plant has a bushier build with tighter flower nodes (space between flower sites.)

I left two smaller branches on both plants, just incase I want clone them. I have some mother plants that need to be cloned and transplanted too. So I'll probably just clone all of them at once.

The pictures from this dump are from my partners camera on her phone. As you can see it takes much better pictures.

Assorted Chocolates flowers starting to show some character. Definitely more pistils showing than the Goldust.

Goldust showing some pinks and purples! Though it doesn't have the pistil production the Assorted Chocolate seems to be displaying.

Wrapping up this weeks blog, I appreciate everyone that stops by to read, and follow along with me in this journey. I'm glad to finally be caught up with the blog. Overall I think the plants are doing well. I'm still trying to get a good system going to keeping the temperature and humidity to remain stable through out the day. The temperature tends to creep up to a high of 77* F by the end of the day. I don't think this is terrible, considering summer/fall days outdoors get significantly hotter than that. I can always turn the intensity of the light down some if it's still getting too warm inside the tent.

Peace, love, and understanding. Until next time Publish0x goers.

Medical Cannabis Grow Blog

This blog will follow my journey of growing medical cannabis for myself. I currently live in a state (Oregon) where medical cannabis (OMMP) and recreational cannabis is legal. I will try to do at least a weekly update on my grow. Currently I am growing in a slightly less than 2' x slightly less than 3' tent. When the weather permits, I will have plants growing outside in my garden.
