AND WE'RE BAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! The fifth installment to this grow/blog series is about to get started. The grow tent is looking amazing, and the plants, cover crop, and soil all seem very happy. I only had one small set back during this last week, but it was an easy remedy.
Now let's dig into it.
Opening the tent I can see everything just being a nice luscious, and strong green color. Letting us know the plants are growing very well and are happy with their current conditions. The temperature has been staying between 73*F-77* F, and between 65-80% Humidity. Yesterday (Monday) I watered with a mixture of two teaspoons (10ml) of EM-1, and two teaspoons (10ml) of dry molasses granules to about a gallon of water.

Assorted Chocolates: Assorted Chocolates cultivar seems to thrive very well in this environment. It looks like it could use a prune up to air out the middle a little, because of all the new growth, and appears to be a bushier plant. I still think I'll wait at least another week or two of vegging. I want the plant large enough to take a few clones from, but also big enough to where the size and plant isn't effected too much., and have a slow recuperating time.

Goldust: Goldust definitely has a height advantage over the Assorted Chocolates. I believe it's just going to be a taller stretchier cultivar compared to the Assorted Chocolates. I tend to like this sometimes, because it gives more spacing in between the cannabis flowers on the stem. Which helps with airflow, and can help prevent mold, powdery mildew, or bud rot.

Overall I'm very happy with how the grow is progressing. I will be spreading some bokashi into the soil, and then watering it in tomorrow (Wednesday). Bokashi will help boost the microorganisms in the soil, which helps promote healthy nutrient uptake and soil biology.
The minor issue I had ran into this past week, was a common mistake. Overwatering. So the humidity levels in the tent, were higher than I wanted them to be.. I had to turn on the exhaust fan, to decrease it for a while, by providing more airflow through the tent. On my next watering, I gave the plants about half the amount that I normally do. This helped rebalance the soil moisture and humidity levels in the tent, back to a normal range.
Well that wraps it up for the fifth installment on this blogging/grow journey. Everything seems to be chugging along nicely, and let's pray it continues to do so. I hope y'all enjoyed the read, and I hope y'all come back to read again!
Peace, love, and understanding. Until next time Publish0x goers.
