I'm not a financial advisor, so please do your research. I'm an engineer and I like to deal with numbers.

I had this idea of shortlisting my cryptocurrency research and hodlings to some manageable number. It is so hard to keep following 30 or 50 cryptocurrencies without losing your life. So, my project was simple, create a checklist that will help me decide which currencies I should look it, and update that list on a bi-annual basis, so that in case a currency changes its core ideology, partnerships, or gained some technological advantage, after I've already completed its analysis, I will still be able to go back and include it in my list

If you want to buy cryptocurrencies for long term HODLING, or invest long in them, you should know which ones to choose.

The characteristics of a cryptocurrency that you want to hodl for a future:

1. Should have future potential and shall persist to exist

2. Should have a real world utility and should provide a service that no other coin can provide

3. Should have big enough partnerships and support community so that in the worst case scenario, these partnerships and that big community will be able to slow down any major damages to the coin

4. Should have seen serious struggles and pains in which its existential spirit was tested and retested , and it was able to continue to survive and prosper

5. Should have the technological and resourceful agility that will keep it at the forefront of its sector/market

The above points should be considered if you wish to hodl a cryptocurrency. I will go into the above checklist with as many cryptocurrencies as possible and try to quantify a score for as many cryptocurrencies as possible.I will keep this list of scores within the post and future posts so you can look for your cryptocurrency in case we've completed its analysis. This will require some help from your part, so I would really like to get your feedback on my assessments so that I can change the scores in case I'm wrong.

If you are adamant about a specific cryptocurrency and will not change your mind about it, despite the fact that you didn't do your due diligence yet, you should change your mind immediately.

I will be going through cryptocurrencies one after the other, and do the due diligence research for you so that you don't have to do it. My final verdict will only apply after I receive your comments for adjustments that are exact.
