The crypto markets are back in bull mode — and Solana is leading the charge. After weeks of sideways chop, last week’s post-FOMC euphoria sparked a powerful rally across majors, with SOL now setting its sights once again on the big psychological milestone: $200.

🔥 Solana's Technical Setup Looks Primed
Following the Fed's latest decision to hold interest rates steady, risk assets across the board caught a fresh bid. Crypto, naturally, exploded — and Solana was no exception. The token has jumped to $171, marking an impressive +18% gain in just seven days.
The technical picture? It’s turning bullish:

✅ SOL bounced hard above the critical $150 support, breaking through a key resistance level.

✅ According to CoinGlass, 63% of Binance traders are now long on SOL, with a long/short ratio of 1.69 — a clear sign of growing bullish sentiment.

✅ Open interest is up 4% in 24 hours, hitting $5.65 billion. Traders are even paying positive funding rates to stay long.

✅ The RSI indicator is flashing favorable momentum, suggesting more upside could be on deck.
Most notably, SOL has now cleared the important 38.2% Fibonacci retracement at $164.77. This opens the door for a move toward the 61.8% Fib level — around $200.
🎯 $200: A Realistic Target or Hopium?
A further 35% rally would put SOL right at the $200 mark — and according to multiple analysts, this is well within reach if the broader macro backdrop stays supportive.
Unlike past rallies, this one isn’t being driven by meme coin hype (more on that below). Instead, it’s backed by real trading flows, solid open interest growth, and technical breakout signals.
In other words: this time, it might stick.
🚩 Memecoins: Left in the Dust… and Full of Scams
Interestingly, while SOL shines, the once-powerful memecoin crowd is lagging badly — and there's a reason why.
A bombshell report from Solidus Labs just revealed that a staggering 98.6% of tokens launched on Pump.fun between January 2024 and March 2025 were essentially scams: either rug pulls or classic pump-and-dump schemes.
Out of 7 million tokens, only 97,000 even managed to maintain over $1,000 in liquidity. That’s a survival rate so low it’s almost comical. 😬
The situation on Raydium, Solana’s leading DEX, isn’t much better:

93% of the 388,000 liquidity pools show signs of “soft rug pulls.”

While 25% of these scams involved small amounts (under $732), some were devastating — with losses as high as $1.9 million.
Bottom line: the memecoin casino is slowing down, and real projects like SOL are taking center stage again.
🚀 Final Thoughts: Solana's Comeback Is On
With macro tailwinds, strong technical signals, and a market shifting away from memecoin mania, Solana looks set to make a serious push toward $200.
Is it FOMO? Maybe. But this time, the data suggests it’s informed FOMO — backed by real market structure improvements and bullish momentum.
