Today I'll share with you a fresh crypto market update!
BITCOIN - BTC
After the explosive bullish movement of the first half of March, Bitcoin has entered a ranging or lateralization phase in recent days. The rather broad channel in which BTC has fluctuated throughout the past week is between the $68,000 and $62,000 levels. Despite this, however, the medium-term scenario remains positive, given that the last weekly candle was supported by demand (buying pressure) and yesterday Bitcoin reached $70,000 again.
How will the price of Bitcoin move in the next few days? It is impossible to say with certainty, according to some analysts it is currently in the upper part of the range and could try to recover ground compared to the all-time high of $73,000 recorded at the beginning of the month. The situation, however, could become more complicated in the event of a break of the $61,000 support. However, Bitcoin remains in very good shape, and if it were to exceed $73,000 it could be on the verge of starting a new price discovery!
All crypto enthusiasts are now looking at the Halving (currently scheduled for April 18). During past cycles it was precisely this important event that triggered an explosive bull market.
ETHEREUM - ETH
Ethereum has followed Bitcoin's movement over the past seven days, without outperforming BTC. Evidently we are not yet in the alt-season. The crypto created by Vitalik Buterin is found in a channel, although less broad than that of BTC. The support that supports the price of ETH is located around the $3,200 level, while the resistance that must be broken to return to growth is in the $3,500 area. If Ethereum manages to break higher, it could aim for its all-time high of $4,800, which, unlike Bitcoin, it has not yet surpassed during this cycle.
However, Ether remains weak against Bitcoin, as demonstrated by the ETH/BTC relative strength chart. The price of Ethereum is once again at the $0.050 support, the last key level that prevents it from collapsing into the 0.04 zone. Will Ethereum be able to recover? Will an alt-season follow this phase? If the price of Ethereum were to grow more than that of Bitcoin in the coming months, we could witness an alt-season.
