Today I would like to comment on some reflections shared by Michael Terpin, the founder of the U.S. investment fund Transform Ventures, who noted that October and November have traditionally been favorable months for the leading cryptocurrency.
Furthermore, he stated that if Republican candidate Donald Trump secures victory in the presidential race, the price of bitcoin could soar to $100,000.
Michael Terpin highlighted that historically, the primary cryptocurrency tends to experience a decline in value during the first six months following a halving, and this fifth cycle appears to follow that pattern.
"Over the next 60 days, despite any fluctuations, the bull market is expected to progress according to the typical four-year cycle. Bitcoin is likely to demonstrate strong growth in October and November," he commented.
According to the Transform Ventures founder, bitcoin is unlikely to dip below the $50,000 level, particularly since the Bank of Japan has announced it won't increase interest rates, and Jump Trading is expected to run out of coins to sell on the market.
The expert mentioned that U.S. markets rebounded swiftly after the August 5 downturn, with the S&P 500 index achieving its best performance since November 2022, and the tech-centric Nasdaq 100 index climbing 3.1% on August 9, which helped to offset previous losses.
Turpin noted that investors are once again viewing bitcoin as a profitable asset that can deliver returns in the medium to long term.
Earlier, analysts from the U.S. financial firm Cantor Fitzgerald advised investors to increase their bitcoin holdings for potentially significant profits in 2025.
