Risk assets such as cryptocurrencies are incredibly volatile, as well as subject to macroeconomic pressures from stock markets, geopolitical events and news affecting investor sentiment. There is still the possibility of a sharp decline in the price of Bitcoin, so every investor should scale their exposure to cryptocurrencies based on their risk appetite.
