Dear community, today I would like to introduce you to a dish that has its roots in Austria but has achieved a high level of awareness so that it has also been ported as a recipe idea to other countries such as Germany. It is not a luxurious dish but one that is offered in many restaurants or other locations. Long story short: Here comes the recipe:

The original recipe (from Austria, from Vienna (Wien)) - β†’ Wiener Schnitzel (with veal):

- Veal meat, it comes from the hip or the leg (alternatively another type of meat can be taken from the veal)

- Salt
- Flour
- 1 egg
- breadcrumbsΒ 

- (Organic) lemon sliced

- French fries


The modified recipe (cheaper) (attention: with pork), Schnitzel "Wiener Art":
- Pork meat, it comes from the hip or the leg

- Salt
- Flour
- 1 egg
- breadcrumbsΒ 

- (Organic) lemon sliced

- French fries

Preparation:

The meat is first lightly salted on both sides. It is important to massage in the salt lightly. The meat is now worked with a meat tenderizer to separate the tendons in the meat. If you don't have a meat tenderizer, the meat can be wrapped in cling film and pounded with a heavy frying pan.

Please put a little flour on one plate and the egg, which must be whisked beforehand, on a second plate. On a third plate the breadcrumbs)
1) The meat is now rolled in flour from both sides.

2)Then dip in the whisked egg until it is covered with egg all over.

3)Finally, turn it in the breadcrumbs on both sides so that the entire meat is covered.

Now fried the meat on both sides with medium heat until it is golden brown.
The meat gets garnished with 1-2 lemon wedges.

The french fries are prepared according to the instructions on the packet and served salted next to the Schnitzel.
