Where the storage of wealth will happen in future?
I guess that most of us it answer is as Bitcoin and I guess I might also answered the same unless I have not read about this newest sensation.
Look like Digital goods/NFT (Non Fungible Token) are really taking market by storm and if I guess they are going to be the very authentic store of wealth for the riches.
I see from very old times ,people always purchased antique and rare artifacts to show their riches or in other words preserve their riches. With the advancement of technology , users keep seeing value in the digital goods/virtual worlds and keep spending money on these virtual worlds and in fact they are are generating some good money from it.
Even before the Blockchain come in to existence we have seeing the nice selling of Digital goods in game like Entropia_Universe and Second_Life
Blockchain just make it easy for storing these Digital goods and allowing the seamless transfer of these entities using cryptocurrencies.
Recently Cryptopunk NFT makes headlines when it got sold for 605 ETH that vas valued around 762K USD at that time. Digital land in Blockchain game is also making more ripples when the Digital land in game Axie Infinity sold for 888.25 ETH that marking is approx value of 1.5 million USD at that time.
I see this market coupled with blockchain is going to huge because it rule out possibility of counterfeit and if you saved your keys properly and keep yourself anonymous , then you possibly protecting your valuables from theft too.
Currently we see Defi markets/coin are really making wave and I think in coming days we might be seeing some very nice Defi-NFT will be making wave and everyone might be rushing to get some rare NFT to lock their wealth.
As far Bitcoin goes it will be remain gold standard of currency but when it comes to really locking the wealth ,I am wondering riches might be in future will be locking their wealth in form of rare NFT's that will also act as collectibles for them.
It will be really interesting to see how this market develop and perform in next couple of years.
