The EU is always busy building bridges where there's no river, and they've done it again.
From next year, a new EU directive will allow you to ask your colleagues, including your least favourite colleague, how much they're making.
Actually, let me rephrase that.
You're already allowed to ask, of course, but, thanks to this new law/directive, your colleague will have to answer.
Which is amusing.
I find it amusing that the EU seems to think you can legislate your way into everything and anything always.
Because let's imagine we're coworkers and I ask you and you reply, "I'm not gonna tell you".
What's next?
I guess I can say, "you're legally obliged to", and you'll be like, "sure, whatever. Still not gonna tell you."
So next, I might take it up to our boss.
But what if he also says, "I don't have for this time go away".
What am I expected to do? Petition the government? File a lawsuit?
It's just silly.
Or is just me?
