Internet users' limited attention span provides a great opportunity.
If whatever you do is only valued for about 22 seconds before people get tired and move on, it means two things.
First, if you make a mistake, it won't matter anymore after 22 seconds.
Second, users want 'more' content, not 'better' content, which means - *sigh* - quantity beats quality.
I don't remember who said it but somebody once said when it comes to content, quality is art, quantity is science.
Getting it right in terms of the quality of your content is an art form. You're either a good editor or you're not. You're either a great narrator or you're not. You either look good in front of a camera or you don't. You can get better, no doubt. But it's like football. Train as hard as you can, there will always be Messis and Ronaldos out there.
However, quantity is science. Sharing a sub-par YouTube short a day is better than sharing an outstanding YouTube short a week.
This is science, because YouTube (and all platforms) will always prioritise quantity.
So that's part of the reason why I intend to write on Publish0x four times a day for a year.
I want to see what happens.
