'The cloud above us'

By LeftFooted | LeftFooted's Antics | 4 Aug 2024

One of the biggest problems I see in today's world is that institutions, and I include the legacy media in this particular group, think we're all stupid.

And they still haven't realised how the internet works.

The first thing they don't seem to understand is that, if it happened, we'll know about it. Because the internet is borderless.

And here's something else, too. If it's on the internet, it stays there forever.

So if something happens and is filmed and put on the internet, it becomes undeniable.

At that point, you can try and spin it, prove it's a fake, or whatever, but the one thing you can't do is act as if it didn't exist.

Which brings us on to the latest bizzarre Kamala Harris moment.

The way she talked about keeping private files 'in the cloud above us' instead of 'in a locked cabinet' is incomprehensible.

In the video, she says we're keeping secret files 'in this cloud that exists above us', while pointing at the sky.

The one thing that gives me hope is that she added we're no longer keeping files in a 'physical place', which leads me to believe she was just trying to use a metaphor and didn't come out well.

No doubt people will try to spin it but this is one of two things.

Either she genuinely believes files are stored in a cloud above us, in which case she's just an id**t, or perhaps, and hopefully that's the case, she was just trying to make a point using some sort of metaphor.

In which case, she's simply not a great communicator for somebody who wants to become President.
