Now, ya see, the whole point of a challenge is it forces you to up the ante.
Or raise the bar. Use whatever equivalent expression you like.
A few months ago, I said I'd write one story every day for the next 365 days.
I was determined to see it through, but wasn't ready. So I did follow through on that promise... for about three weeks.
BUT setting up the challenge (for myself) forced me to do better.
So, now I've got a new: four stories a day, every day, for a year.
