I'm bored. And I'm at an airport. And I'm having wine. So I'm listening to Donald Trump's interview/podcast with Joe Rogan. It's three hours long, and I've watched two hours. I think I can already share my key takeaways. the clip of Donald Trump's appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast.
Here are my key takeaways.
Politicians are bullshitters, but some aren't even good at that
Politicians are, by trade and definition, bullshitters, but some aren't even good at that. But not Trump. Trump is an excellent bullshitter.
He never wastes a chance to throw slight (sometimes not to slight) digs the 'other guy', which in case is a woman.
Joe Rogan is truly into UFC
Joe Rogan lit up like a Christmas tree when Donald Trump talked about the UFC. You can tell Rogan is truly passionate about that. That was interesting to hear.
Barron Trump is really tall
Donald Trump mentioned his son Barron many times throughout the podcast, and each time, he wanted us to know he is very, very tall.
Donald Trump is the type of guy that if you ask him to talk about wine, he'll start with the origins of wood
We all have that one friend or relative who, when you ask them a question, they'll start from way back in Roman times before they get to the meat of it.
Trump is like that. He rambles a bit, and I do think he's not as sharp as he used to be four years ago. Still sharp, but a bit less so.
Sometimes the conversation starts here, and he takes it there. But 'here' and 'there' are totally unrelated.
He's just a funny guy
Trump is a natural-born entertainer. He just has it in him. He's naturally inclined to crack jokes. His timing is good, his delivery is good. It's just the way he is.
If you're American, good luck
Let's be completely honest here. Trump is no one's idea of the best possible candidate. But Biden is worse, because he's clearly way past his expiry date, and Kamala Harris is just an idi**t. She really does come across as extremely unintelligent.
As somebody with no skin in the game, I can't vote in the US obviously, I'd still rather see Trump win. Not because he's great, but because the alternative is so s**t it's unbelievable. And also because he's openly pro crypto (although I know he doesn't care, he just wants the votes).
