So, live for today or plan for tomorrow, which is it?
It's like there are two camps. Or teams, if you like.
People on Team Today argue that today is the only day that matters, because tomorrow is not promised.
Which is true.
Those on Team Tomorrow argue that while it is true that tomorrow isn't promised, it'll likely come, and you have to be prepared.
Which is also true.
I lived on both sides of this particular fence and finally realised what I have to do.
You have to live in the moment because you won't get that moment back, but you also have to be strategic. Because every day is different and it pays off to have the outline of a plan.
Easier said than done, I know.
But I now feel good about it because I think I know, vaguely, what I have to do and, vaguely, how to do it.
Good. But now I gotta actually do it. And that's by far the hardest part.
