I got a push notification from Curve, a debit card provider and payment card aggregator, with a message from one of their customer service operators.

Long story short, they need to verify some data.

To be fair, they did send a couple of emails, which I forgot to address.

The problem is they already have that data.

The problem is these providers, apps, whatever you want to call them, are constantly asking for more information, often pieces of information they already possess.

I lost count of how many times I had to verify and KYC on Coinbase, other apps, like Curve for example, are always requiring more information.

"Your source of income".

That's a question I've been asked ten thousand times.

What's the point of asking this question every six months?

Unfortunately, that's the bad news, but the really bad news is it can only get worse.
