When I was a bit younger, the I'LL-SLEEP-WHEN-I'M-DEAD mentality was the go-to.
Everyone kept droning on about 'working hard', and 'working 25 hours a day', and sleep is for the weak, and so on.
That's obvious BS.
Apart from anything else, sleeping less makes you definitely LESS efficient, not more.
I don't particularly subscribe to the new party, either - to be clear.
These days, people take it a bit too easy, and I don't like that.
But that's my opinion. It is also my opinion that one of the elements of the now obsolete 'I'LL-SLEEP-WHEN-I'M-DEAD' mentality was that in order to get 10, you should aim for 100.
In other words, overaim. Not a word, but you get the gist.
Some people say you should realistic expectations and goals.
Maybe.
Some days I wake up and think, "today I want to publish 10 articles and 10 YouTube shorts".
That never happens, but I still think that's a good strategy because I feel like if I tell myself I need to publish 10 articles, I'll at least publish six.
If I told myself I'd need to write 6, I'd do 2.
Maybe.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
It works for me. For now. I'll stick to it.
