Frank in the Land of Memory

"In a land where memory was as valuable as gold, there lived a man named Frank. Now, Frank wasn't like the rest of the folks in town, he had a peculiar problem. You see, Frank had the memory of a goldfish, and he forgot things faster than you could say, "Where did I put my keys?"

One fine day, Frank decided to go to the grocery store to buy some milk. He walked in, grabbed a cart, and set off to find the dairy aisle. As he was walking, he suddenly stopped, scratched his head and said, "Now, why did I come here again?"

Just then, a little old lady walked by and said, "You came here to buy milk, dearie."

Frank beamed, "Oh, yes! Of course! Thank you!"

He went to the dairy aisle, grabbed a carton of milk, and headed for the checkout. As he was waiting in line, he suddenly remembered he needed bread too. So, he quickly turned around and went back to the bread aisle.

But just as he was about to grab a loaf of bread, he remembered that he also needed eggs. So, he put the bread back, and ran to the egg aisle. As he was reaching for a carton of eggs, he suddenly remembered he needed cheese too.

This went on for a good 15 minutes, with Frank running back and forth between aisles, forgetting something each time. The other shoppers in the store were starting to get a little irritated, but Frank was having the time of his life.

Finally, after a marathon of running, Frank made it back to the checkout, panting and sweating, with a cart full of groceries. The cashier looked at him with a confused expression and said, "Sir, did you forget anything?"

Frank looked at the cashier and said with a twinkle in his eye, "Nope, I think I got everything I needed. But if I did forget anything, I'll just come back tomorrow!"

And that's the story of how Frank, the forgetful man, became the most popular customer at the grocery store. From that day on, everyone in town would always smile and say, "Here comes Frank, the man who never forgets to forget something!"
