Cardano(ADA)

IOHK, the company that founded the Cardano platform established in Ethiopia providing facilities and teaching people to make use of blockchain technology in solving their real-world problems and also creating innovative projects in their platform. As the technology has a transparent and secure system Government and other NGOs are engaged with the company to develop their economy. 

They are also trying to establish their EMURGO’s trace solution in the health care system through blockchain tech as they provide secure, fast tracing and management of data records and thus making an efficient way to monitor an individual’s medical records securely.

VeChain(VET)

In February 2021, the ReSea project the Danish company involved in the collection of plastics from the sea made a press release that they have certified for tracing plastic wastages from the sea and recorded the journey of plastic waste through VeChain’s ToolChain platform. The tech allows anyone to track the plastic waste from the extraction point to the waste bank. Blockchain tech provides digital tracking and monitoring of all plastic waste collection. The level of traceability gives the source of the plastics and transparency in the collection process gives trust to their partners. 

ChainLink(LINK)

One of the founders of Chainlink Sergey Nazarov has tweeted recently about the positive impact created by the Hybrid smart contracts. Hybrid smart contracts will use satellite data and reward incentives for avoiding pollution and solving issues related to climate change. This project collaborated with several institutions like  Cornell University and the Green world campaign. Rewarding incentives when we avoid or solve environmental issues gives us a measure to know how much impact was made efficiently.
