If the Crypto World Were Naruto — Who Would Be Who?

Okay, this might sound not that important, especially if you're currently chasing red candle charts turning green, so feel free to scroll down and skip this. But every now and then, it's okay to relax a bit and look at the crypto world from a more human perspective, perhaps.
Because yesterday, while scrolling through YouTube and daydreaming, an absurd thought suddenly popped into my head: “If the crypto world were like the Naruto anime, who would be who?”

And from there, this article was born. Take it easy while reading. Imagine you’re hanging out at a coffee shop near your ex-crush’s house from when you were in school.

Bitcoin = Naruto Uzumaki
It’s obvious, right? Naruto is the name that first comes to mind—ignored, underestimated, called stupid, but keeps going anyway.
Naruto at the beginning of the story is exactly like Bitcoin: alone, no one believes in him. But he never gives up.
Until he eventually became Hokage. Oh, I mean… became the King of Crypto.

Many say he’s slow, outdated, and expensive. But hey, if you remove all other cryptos, Bitcoin still stands alone, even with all the drama. Similar, but if you continue, there’s the Boruto series—so where does Naruto end up???

Bitcoin Cash = Neji Hyuga
Still from the “pure bloodline,” still part of the same family. But BCH is stubborn. It refuses to follow a system it deems broken.

Neji says: “Destiny can be changed.”
BCH says: “Transactions must be cheap and fast.”

It was often mocked, deemed a “failure” for lacking popularity, but it’s still here today. And for those who understand the meaning of freedom in transactions, BCH is like Neji: classy, focused, and has strong principles.

Ethereum = Sasuke Uchiha
Here we can use the words smart, talented, complex, and yet likes to create new things that people sometimes don't understand.
Sasuke left the village to seek new power—just like Ethereum left the “simplicity of Bitcoin” to create smart contracts, DeFi, NFTs, and other innovations.

Sometimes it can be frustrating, as it often causes gas fees to skyrocket, but it still holds a special place in many people's hearts.
Just like Sasuke, it’s always updating its strange techniques. Now it’s moved to Proof of Stake, Layer 2, and who knows what else in the future.

Dogecoin = Konohamaru
It started out as just a joke. At first, it was thought to be something kids were just following along with. But it turned out? “Hey, this kid is serious too…”

Dogecoin is one of those coins that can rise due to the strength of its community, not technology or vision and mission. It’s just like Konohamaru—who eventually mastered the Rasengan too. And don’t forget: Doge has a “grandfather” named Elon Musk. Kind of like Sarutobi, I guess. 😄

Cardano = Shikamaru Nara
Calm. Not flashy.
But every step is measured, strategic, and well-thought-out. Completely different from projects that launch hastily and pull a rug pull next week.

People often complain: “Why does Cardano take so long?”

Well… Shikamaru is also lazy to move, but once he does? All his tactics are spot-on.
That's Cardano. Not in a hurry, but deep even though it takes time.

Ripple = Orochimaru
This one is a bit controversial. You could say it's too smart. Likes to play behind the scenes.
Ripple is a successful project, but... people are reluctant to admit it. Because it's too “bank-like,” too corporate.

And like Orochimaru, Ripple can’t be stopped. Even after being sued by the SEC, it’s still alive, though the final decision is still unclear.

Monero = Itachi Uchiha
Full of mystery. Walking the path in the dark, but the goal remains for the greater good.
Monero might not be for everyone. But for those who understand the importance of privacy, it’s everything.

It doesn’t need the spotlight, it doesn’t need a 1000x price increase.
One thing is most important: its transactions are secure and untraceable.

The average person sees it as criminal. But those who understand know it’s a silent hero.

FTX = Kabuto Yakushi
It initially seemed smart. Trusted by many.
But it turned out to be an agent of chaos. FTX (and Sam Bankman-Fried) is like Kabuto, pretending to be pure, but harboring evil intentions. When all the trust exploded… it crumbled.

But strangely and unfortunately, there are still those who defend it. Such is life, perhaps.

Lightning Network = Minato Namikaze
It’s about speed. Efficiency. But unfortunately, not everyone understands how to use it.

Lightning is truly a solution for Bitcoin, but it’s not yet mainstream, even though it’s famous.
And people know it’s amazing like Minato, the fastest Hokage—but not everyone can master his teleportation technique. But if they could? Wow.

And remember, Minato had a lot of enemies, just like the Lightning Network, which still has true enemies to this day (one of whom could be someone like me, perhaps).

Satoshi Nakamoto = Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki
The latter can be considered the Creator of everything. He appeared at the beginning of the story, provided the vision and mission, and then disappeared.

Everyone now uses his creation, even institutions and nations, but no one can truly understand why he left.
And the funny thing is that everyone claims to be his follower. Yet it’s clear that many have strayed far from his teachings.

Just look at the current situation:

  • The DeFi World = The Fourth Great Ninja War
  • Tokens are launched like kunai being thrown.
  • Projects emerge daily, only to vanish a week later.

People attack each other, suffer losses, some become legends, others victims—and some even become DeFi Hokage. Everyone lives amid chaos, yet it is from this chaos that a more mature system emerges.

The crypto world is sometimes like a ninja world. What we see on the surface isn’t necessarily its true strength.
What’s quiet isn’t necessarily weak. What’s loud isn’t necessarily here to stay.

So if someone asks you who you are now? Or… maybe you’re Kabuto thinking about creating fake tokens? 😅
And if this article makes you smile, tip me for ramen, okay?
