Chaos caused by the CORONAVIRUS could bring some benefit to humanity?

As expected, the highest percentage of current Google searches include COVID-19.

Also on our platform, almost all posts address this very important issue for humanity.

Figures of cases of infections and deaths are the news of the day.

But I wanted to bring a ray of hope to everyone, try to see the positive side of the situation and give you a moment of relaxation within all this stress that we are experiencing.

Is it possible that this situation of chaos caused by the CORONAVIRUS could bring some benefit to humanity?

Although it seems implausible to us, the answer is yes.

Family Junction

The hours of home confinement, added to the suspension of activities in schools, has allowed parents to share more hours a day with their children.
Many governments have mandated that academic activities take place online from home, requiring parents and guardians to further support their children in school activities.

Family gatherings now don't have the hurdle that office hours created. Many families have managed to strengthen ties of affection by doing team activities.

Family prayer and family embrace represent a factor in strengthening emotional ties.

Ceasefire

There have been proclamations of ceasefires in several countries in conflict after their call to stop fighting in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is reported to have called for "an immediate ceasefire" to protect the most vulnerable civilians in war-torn countries from the coronavirus. The UN chief published an update that reports on progress in the following countries that accepted his announcement: Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Colombia, Libya, Myanmar, the Philippines, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine and Yemen.

  • Cameroon: Armed groups from two separatist regions celebrate the temporary ceasefire announced on March 25 by the South Cameroonian Defense Forces.

  • Colombia: The ELN, the last recognized guerilla in Colombia, announced a one-month ceasefire (between April 1 and April 30) in the face of the emergency for the new coronavirus in what they presented as "a humanitarian gesture" towards the people Colombian and raised the Iván Duque government during that time to negotiate a bilateral cessation of actions.

  • Yemen: The Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia has declared a ceasefire (for the first time in five years of war) throughout Yemeni territory. A small beam of hope, forced by the advance of the coronavirus and fear of the effects of the pandemic in the greatest humanitarian crisis on the planet.

A Cleaner Planet. CO2 emissions fall.

In February alone, Chinese C02 emissions fell 25%, equivalent to 200 million tons, compared to the same period in 2019, according to the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA).

The closure of the Chinese industrial park also brought coal consumption down 36% in power plants, with a drop almost equivalent to oil consumption in refineries.

NO2 is a gas toxic to humans that can cause respiratory problems such as asthma and is produced by fuel from motor vehicles, factories and industrial facilities.
The fall of NO2 also coincided with Lunar New Year celebrations in China and much of Asia, where many businesses close.

As for air transport, the almost total paralysis of the sector contributes to reducing its significant CO2 emissions.
Some ways to move far with more respect for the environment are using the boat or the train. And, while a train trip from London to Madrid emits 43 kilos of CO2 per passenger, by plane this figure rises to 118 kilos per person.

Venice canals

To finish I want to leave you these beautiful images of the canals of Venice, where the water has become clear as the incessant bustle of boats full of tourists ends.

The fact that practically no boats circulate through its channels made the contamination of the water decrease and the channel bed could be seen.

Hopefully by now you think that our efforts are worth your support and you'll consider delegating some SP to help us grow. We will be happy to have you on-board our project and in return we share 100% ROI (curation rewards) with all delegators.
We share those rewards on a weekly basis and currently 1000 SP delegated to @project.hope will result with a profit of average 2 STEEM / week (which is slightly more than pretty much all delegating bots are offering).

Delegate us 1000 SP
