It was a strong start this week...
working with HTML and CSS. Both of which I have interacted with before at previous jobs and in self-directed study. So these were not quite a challenge.
A brief overview of what I covered:
HTML
- Lists and Tables
- Images and Videos
- Forms
CSS
- Understanding the box model
- Selectors
- Flex and Justify
Heading into the next week...
I'll be continuing CSS and starting up JavaScript. Outside of the technical education, I'll be starting to make contact with others in web3 jobs and looking to conduct informational interviews. I have a very long list of topics that I am hoping to talk with others in the industry about and I am looking forward to sharing insights here in the coming weeks on this blog.
The intro topics I am looking to dive into ASAP with informational interviews and utilizing the career resources of the boot camp;
-What languages and technologies should a jr dev learn to break into web3
-Open source projects that I should look at contributing to
-Putting together a learning path (concepts, ideas, not just the technologies)
This week's post is brief as it reflects the easy start into the programming boot camp journey but as we proceed there will be much more information to share. As I've said before, I hope to leave this behind to help others find their way from beginner programmer to landing a job in web3.
