In the traditional world, the bank has the keys to your vault. In the 'Bunker' world, YOU are the bank. And for that, you need a professional tool: MetaMask.
1. What is MetaMask? (It’s not just a 'Wallet')
Think of MetaMask as the digital bridge between your computer and the decentralized world. It’s a browser extension (or mobile app) that allows you to:
- Store your assets without intermediaries.
- Interact with decentralized applications (dApps).
- Sign transactions with your own digital signature.
2. The Golden Rule: The 12 Words (Your Life Insurance)
When you create your MetaMask, it will give you a Secret Recovery Phrase (12 words).
- NEVER take a photo of them.
- NEVER save them in a Word document or email.
- ALWAYS write them on paper (or carve them in metal) and hide them in your physical bunker.
- If you lose these words, you lose your money. If someone else gets them, they own your money.
3. Why This is 'Guerrilla' Freedom
Using MetaMask is the ultimate act of rebellion against the 'Hamster Trap.'
- No one can freeze your account.
- No one can ask you 'where this money comes from' when you move it.
- It’s just you, your 12 words, and the blockchain.
4. Your Homework for Today (Zero Cost)
1. Install the MetaMask extension in your browser (Chrome, Brave, or Firefox).
2. Create a new wallet and guard those 12 words like your life depends on it.
3. Look at your public address (the one starting with '0x...'). That is your 'IBAN' of the future.
