I am John from the Philippines and this is my introductory post, here in PublishOx.
About Me
I always introduce myself as a self-trained graphic artist or graphic designer and a photography enthusiast. Because graphic designing and photography are my hobbies. And I learned and developed my skills both through experience and online tutorials. But I have a Computer Engineering background.
In my last full-time job, I worked as the System/Network administrator for a company with more than 100 workstations. After that, I tried to start a business using my skills. I got a couple of projects, but then the pandemic came.
Fortunately, I have a part-time teaching job. But I’m earning only half of what I used to earn. Anyways, I have the free time to look for other sources of income online.
Revenue Sharing Sites and Apps.
Over the period of one year, I joined several revenue-sharing sites and apps, including a forum. Mostly, they were photo-sharing sites. Over the period of one year, I got an income of probably $10. Perhaps I joined too many different platforms that I could not focus on building up my followers/subscribers and earnings on one.
Read.Cash and Noise.Cash
Then I read about Read.Cash. I joined the platform in December of 2020. Though I was already looking for some platforms where I can earn any cryptocurrency, I did not post anything until February of 2021. After my first post, I almost forgot about Read.Cash. I think it was three weeks after that I checked my only article in Read.Cash and it says, it has $0.40 or something. I thought
“That’s good. Then now what?”
From there, I saw the notification about Noise.Cash. I joined the twitter-like platform and started earning Bitcoin Cash!

Looking for a way to Earn Etherium and XRP
Since I am using CoinsPH, I wanted to earn the other two cryptocurrencies accepted by that app. Etherium and Ripple (XRP). I think I asked in Noise where I can earn these two and Publish0x was mentioned.
When I learned it's a writing site, I thought, I might be spreading myself again too thin. I mean, most writing sites do not allow content posted somewhere else. At the time, I already have a plan to submit more posts in Forum Coin and Project BlueFire. I even commented in one of the posts in Read.Cash, that I’d rather focus on the existing platform that I am in. Thinking that I might not come up with enough topics to write on different platforms.
Why I Decided to Join Publish0x
In another post in Read.Cash, the author mentioned that he was reposting some of his articles in Publish0x. Then I checked the rules and it does specify that reposting is allowed as long as the author fully owned that article or has a written consent from the original author to repost it.
Another reason is, I was looking for a platform where I can earn Eutherium. And this is the first one that I found.
With my hesitation gone, I joined Publish0x and applied for authorship right away. I was fortunate enough that my application was approved the following day.
Not that I plan to repost only my old articles here, I will sure post new articles, especially on my journey into the cryptocurrency realm.
Blogging Platform
This is quite a surprise for me. I thought this is another writing platform. But when I tried to upload this post, I was asked to create a blog first! (Pardon the ignorance of this noob). I just realized this is an entire blogging platform! Wow! I think I will transfer my blogger blog as well!!!
That being said, I realize now that I should have joined Publish0x sooner. I shouldn't have given in to my reluctance. Anyways, it's never too late to start my journey here.
