Today, it happened. Daddy made a boo-boo. Or maybe Daddy made one of the smarter investments he's made in a while.
Namely, I (Daddy) was on Coinbase Pro (CBPro). I meant to deposit $50.
I must have hit zero twice and before I knew it I accidentally deposited $500.

That is quite a lot of money for me right now.
I had to drive to the bank to deposit cash to make sure my balance was not negative post-transfer of the $500 to CBPro. How's that saying go - measure twice cut once?
Instead of waiting a week for funds to clear with CBPro such that I could return them back to my bank account, and because the $500 was immediately available to invest on the CBPro I decided to buy Bitcoin. Maybe it was a sign.

Sure, I could have instead flipped, traded, and chased buy-ins on red days on Bitcoin, or other crypto to maximize the return on investment instead of just buying lump-sum. However, such approaches can be laborious, time consuming, and potentially very risky.
Right now, I seek simplicity and a solid investment akin to a savings account. Thus, the decision to lump-sum all $500 into Bitcoin.
Thus far, the price/my investment in Bitcoin has been going up since the buy in earlier today, perhaps as much as 3, 4 or 5%.

On days like this, owning Bitcoin, and to a lesser degree other crypto's is addictive in a good way.
That is, the desire to own more Bitcoin induces lifestyle changes, practices, and habits that are good for me. For example, saving money, being increasingly careful about expenditures, working harder, working smarter, and developing multiple streams of income all are good habits that can be inspired by the desire to increase Bitcoin and other crypto holdings.

So, for now, it's a few less Red Bulls, a couple less beers, and less wake and bake, and instead more Bitcoin. I have a strong feeling that the $500 Daddy "accidentally" invested into Bitcoin today will pay much greater dividends in the long run than the former such choices.
I look forward to updating everyone on the growth of this investment in future articles.
Until then, may all your days be green!
