1. Party
The Ancient Romans dedicated many days to celebrations: 182, or more than half of the year. During these holidays there were different types of competitions, especially horse racing.
Many were those who gambled were enriched, and as many were those who were impoverished. But not a few were also the games of chance in which they turned a lot of money: above all the game of the dice and the game of the nuts.
2. Beard ritual
When a young man had his beard shaved for the first time, a true religious rite was celebrated. The ceremony was called deposio barbae (deposition of the beard).
It was a solemn day, with parties and banquets to which family friends were invited. The beard cut for the first time was to be offered to the deities.
3. Ball game
Even the Ancient Romans played ball. They played trigon, a game with the ball of three, the ball to the jump, the ball to the wall and many others. The Romans usually played ball before bathing in spas or public baths.
4. Body care
The Ancient Romans washed their bodies only with running water. They rarely used to wash immediately after getting out of bed. They usually dressed and went out to go about their business.

At the table, among the Ancient Romans, burping was allowed and justified, considered by most to be a "gesture of civilization". Other noises were also allowed.
