An ongoing governance voting for second ever proposal by the Uniswap community is set to close for voting by the Halloween and expected to decide whether additional 12,619 users of the initial distribution should be eligible for the Airdrop as well.
- The proposal comes from Dharma one of the top tokens holders which provides an open-source lending protocol for its users and would like to see its 2,833 users who interacted with Uniswap via a proxy contract to be rewarded with 400 UNI tokens each.
- Dharma's proposal documentation highlights the set of users which were incorrectly excluded in the initial distribution due to a technical oversight
- The above proposal also highlights a further vote to come in the instance its first proposal is accepted, aiming at rewarding further 26,598 users of DEX Aggregators with majority of users coming from the Kyber Network.
- With less than 24 hours to conclude the proposal appears to be short of 14 millions votes with every 20 votes in favor seeing 1 vote against and baring in mind the first ever Uniswap proposal failed on just 400,000 votes short in favor and having better ratio of 40:1 we may be about to see the second vote in Uniswap governance history being declined.
