Further to the recent rise of the Ledger email phishing campaigns the attackers appear to be now also shifting towards using the leaked mobile phones and crafting SMS phishing campaigns. As of the evening of Sunday 1st November 2020 there appears to have been a send out of phishing SMS targeting the leaked customers details from United Kingdom.
- The below is an example of an SMS message targeting myself with correct full name in attempt of fooling the victim into visiting a non official ledger website with most likely malicious intent.
- As per the advise from Ledger you will never be asked to provide, expose or insert your 24 word recovery phrase anywhere else than inside your Ledger device.
