L’acquisto è molto semplice e l’utente, dopo aver completato la registrazione ed il KYC, non dovrà fare altro che caricare i soldi sul proprio conto, selezionare la crypto da lui prescelta ed acquistarla con un semplice click. Il servizio è istantaneo e user friendly, le commissioni variano a seconda della modalità d’acquisto. Coinbase Consumer permette inoltre di gestire, archiviare e vendere le proprie crypto;
• COINBASE PRO è la piattaforma di trading di Coinbase. Riservata agli utenti più esperti, mette a disposizione una serie di strumenti che permettono ai trader di acquistare e vendere crypto e token ed effettuare ordini (MARKET, LIMIT e STOP), il tutto con spread bassissimi e a zero commissioni;
• COINBASE WALLET è il portafoglio mobile di Coinbase. Esso permette di conservare in sicurezza le proprie criptovalute. Commissioni e costi     

Come sottolineato in precedenza, Coinbase è costituita da varie piattaforme, le quali hanno commissioni di acquisto, vendita e trasferimento dei fondi differenti.

Partiamo dalla piattaforma principale, COINBASE CONSUMER. Essa rappresenta la modalità più veloce per l’acquisto e la vendita di criptovalute. Coinbase applica uno spread fisso dello 0,50%. Allo spread vanno aggiunte le seguenti commissioni:

• 0,99 € se l'importo totale della transazione è inferiore o uguale a 10 €;
• 1,49 € se l'importo totale della transazione è compreso tra i 10 e i 25 €;
• 1,99 € se l'importo totale della transazione è compreso tra i 25 e i 50 €;
• 2,99 € se l'importo totale della transazione è compreso tra i 50 e i 78 € (ossia l’equivalente di 100 USD).

Per operazioni di importi superiori ai 78 €, Coinbase applicherà una tariffa fissa dell'1,49% per acquisto mediante bonifico bancario, 3,99% in caso di utilizzo di carta di credito.

Nota: Per prelevare i fondi è possibile scegliere tra bonifico sul proprio conto corrente o PayPal.

Coinbase permette inoltre di utilizzare COINBASE PRO per l’acquisto di criptovalute. Dopo aver depositato con bonifico bancario i fondi su Coinbase.com, è possibile trasferirli su Coinbase PRO gratuitamente ed utilizzare la piattaforma per esperti per acquistare bitcoin e le altre criptovalute. Utilizzando Coinbase PRO, come accennato nell’introduzione, non si pagheranno spread ma solo delle commissioni in base al volume dei trades.

Per quanto riguarda invece il trasferimento di criptovalute, Coinbase applica delle commissioni fisse che variano in base alla moneta che si intende trasferire ed al traffico del network. Uno dei punti deboli degli strumenti di Coinbase è rappresentato dal fatto che le commissioni per il trasferimento delle criptomonete non sono personalizzabili. Tuttavia, le fee di default risultano abbastanza adeguate e permettono di effettuare le operazioni in tempi contenuti e a costi bassi.

Infine, per quanto riguarda la possibilità di spendere le proprie criptomonete con COINBASE CARD, la carta ricaricabile di Coinbase, la società applica una commissione pari al 2,49%. La carta di credito ha un costo di emissione pari a 5€, non ha canoni mensili e permette di prelevare senza commissioni aggiuntive fino a 200 € al mese. Oltre verrà applicata una commissione pari al 2%, che sommata alla fee di base porta ad un totale complessivo del 4,49%.

COINBASE CONSUMER

COINBASE CONSUMER è la piattaforma principale del colosso statunitense. Essa permette di acquistare criptovalute mediante carta di credito e bonifico bancario. Permette altresì di vendere le medesime crypto, conservarle, riceverle ed inviarle ad amici, conoscenti o semplicemente ad altri wallet o exchange.

La piattaforma si presenta semplice ed intuitiva ed è disponibile sia su web che per mobile.

Sulla dashboard troverai il saldo complessivo detenuto su Coinbase ed il grafico relativo all’andamento dei tuoi investimenti, aggiornato in tempo reale.

Nel menù in alto troverai 3 link che ti condurranno alle varie sezioni del sito web.

Sotto ciascun conto compariranno due pulsanti:

• Invia, per inviare criptovalute a terzi;
• Ricevi, per visualizzare il proprio indirizzo di ricezione (ADDRESS) che dovremo condividere per ricevere criptovalute.

A destra di ciascun conto apparirà la lista di tutte le transazioni effettuate. Per comprare una delle criptovalute basterà selezionarla e cliccare sul tasto in alto a destra EFFETTUA TRANSAZIONI. Si aprirà in seguito un modulo nel quale dovremo inserire l’importo che intendiamo acquistare, selezionare la criptovaluta interessata ed il metodo di pagamento.

Sul monitor del nostro PC comparirà l’importo complessivo che stiamo acquistando, la commissione finale ed il totale che riceveremo di quella determinata criptovaluta.

Per acquistare con bonifico bancario è necessario prima selezionare il conto PORTAFOGLIO EURO, poi cliccare su DEPOSITA ed infine inserire i dati richiesti. Dopo che gli euro verranno depositati su Coinbase sarà possibile effettuare l’operazione di acquisto.

Per quanto riguarda la vendita il procedimento è pressoché invariato. Questa volta dovremo cliccare sul tasto VENDI, inserire l’importo e selezionare PORTAFOGLIO EURO. Non appena verrà completata quest’operazione, i fondi si troveranno sul conto euro e sarà possibile prelevarli tramite bonifico sul nostro conto corrente o sul nostro conto Paypal.

€ 0.99 if the total transaction amount is less than or equal to € 10;
€ 1.49 if the total transaction amount is between € 10 and € 25;
€ 1.99 if the total transaction amount is between € 25 and € 50;
€ 2.99 if the total transaction amount is between € 50 and € 78 (i.e. the equivalent of USD 100).

For transactions over € 78, Coinbase will apply a flat rate of 1.49% for purchase by bank transfer, 3.99% in case of credit card use.

Note: To withdraw funds, you can choose between bank transfer to your bank account or PayPal.

Coinbase also allows you to use COINBASE PRO for the purchase of cryptocurrencies. COINBASE CONSUMER
