One Stone Stands Tall

In this, the seventh image in a collection of Arlington Cemetery #photography, you see more fall beauty. Shadows and light with a better mix of greens, reds, and orange colors.

A variety of different tombstones is showing again here, with one dark stone standing above the others.

Arlington has many different areas, each designated with a lot number to help organize the grounds.

The Army 'Old Guard' keeps these grounds. Every soldier who's honored with duty in the Old Guard has at least one lot assigned. It's there duty to maintain the lots that they watch over.
