Bitcoin is an incredible monetary revolution. I write this frequently, but it's simply because that's how I feel, as do all other Bitcoiners. We understand the why of Bitcoin, and so we have already begun to see what Bitcoin can do to improve the world of the future for the many.
Some people, however, seem to have a hard time taking a long view of things.
I often hear people say to me I don't buy Bitcoin today, but rather such and such Altcoin, because its upside potential on this Bull Run is greater. So these people are going to jeopardize the fruits of their labor out of sheer greed. Sometimes it will work, I won't lie to you.
Just as you can win by going to the casino in Las Vegas, you can win by going all-in on Altcoins. But does that mean that going to the casino is a better investment than buying Bitcoin to take control of your life?
I'll let you ponder this question and find the answer for yourself.
For my part, I already found the answer long ago, which is why I've continued to buy Bitcoin no matter what since I fully entered this revolution in 2017. As a result, I have bought Bitcoin at virtually every price point between $2K and $65K.
I follow a DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) buying strategy that allows me to smooth out my costs while avoiding falling into the trap of those who hesitate when buying by taking a short-term approach.
You know the famous little voice inside you that says, "What if the price of Bitcoin falls a little further?"
These people ultimately never take action and will regret it in the future. To reassure yourself that this is a good strategy, just look at what Michael J. Saylor has been doing with his company MicroStrategy since he fully embraced the Bitcoin revolution in August 2020.
Michael J. Saylor buys Bitcoin regularly regardless of the price. In the end, he managed to accumulate 114,041 BTC. This already represents 0.543% of the total supply of Bitcoin, which is fixed at 21 million units no matter what.
The cumulative cost of BTC purchases for MicroStrategy? $3,159,863,658 as of October 10, 2021. MicroStrategy's 114,041 BTC are currently valued at $6,320,494,343.
Yet Michael J. Saylor has bought Bitcoin at $10K, $30K, $55K, $40K, ...
Final Thoughts
In the end, he is a big winner for following this strategy of accumulating whatever happens with Bitcoin. That's why, once you understand the why of Bitcoin, you'll start buying it, and then you'll simply never stop.
Within a few years, you'll be one of the big winners in this revolution if you're patient. Patience is the key with Bitcoin, and that's why the accumulation strategy is the best for most people.
Then you can proudly say that you have bought Bitcoin at $2K, $50K, $100K, $200K, and even more. That's all the happiness I wish you.
