Cat said apologetically.
"I understand. The lame arguments against legitimizing Android Civil Rights were, heretofore (just learned that word today, like it?) simply an academic exploration. But now, with all the publicity about me and my two brother Sentient Artificial Intelligence (SAI), accelerated reality is setting in." Anya said, matter-of-factly.
"I think the global elite are frustrated. First they tried using all the same reasons that kept African-Americans from being recognized as equal humans. Then they tried the "AIs are like children and need to be protected" argument. But the real reason is that they are afraid of losing their power and global stranglehold on the masses via fake money and worldwide manipulated trade." Cat explained.
With obvious sadness and a hint of anger, Anya said, "I understand, but it still sucks to be me..."
