The bull market is not over. If you think otherwise, after seeing Bitcoin lose momentum while trying to conquer $31k, you're going to be surprised. Yes, there will be pullbacks all the way up to new ATHs, but the trend is clear...
Three years up and one year down, and guess what?! 2022 was that one year down. Crypto can't only go up or only down; it would make no sense if that were to occur. It has to inflate and bubble up and then burst "in tears," all of that in a four-year cycle.
We are one year away from the halving, and this is an important catalyst for crypto's parabolic runs. So far, it has never disappointed, and although we will see a steady uptrend until the halving occurs, it's what happens after the halving that will make you the most money.
It took me five years to learn that, and it cost me two wasted bull markets, plenty of insane opportunities missed, a ton of wrecked nerves, and some good money that got eaten up by the market. I've had my fair share of thrills in crypto, and I bet the journey will not be over soon.
If I had to pick just one thing that made my crypto experience awesome, then that one thing would be Hive, hands down. But if we are to talk about "moments in crypto," then I have a couple of them I'd like to mention, both of which vividly live in my memory.
My worst so-called moment in crypto was the LUNA crash. I had no particular affinity with the project, but when it fell off the cliff, I thought I should catch it and leverage the pump back to its previous price level, thus making some free money in a matter of hours. Little did I know what was about to happen.
LUNA basically went from something like $80 to under a cent in less than 24 hours, and that event saw me catching knife after falling knife, after falling knife... I lost $3,500 in a matter of hours, and it took me two days to mentally recover.
But I've had my "best moment" in crypto as well, and this one actually happened a few good months before the LUNA tragedy. Thanks to @inalittlewhile, I got myself $7,000 worth of UMA airdrop, and that money was good money for me. There are people who probably work something like two years in Romania for that cash, and I was airdropped it.
Man, did that feel good... I didn't properly manage these funds, and half of them went back into my bleeding portfolio after the LUNA crash. Something like $1,300 went into LEO tokens (I bought LEO at $0.4), and the rest... Well, the rest is history.
I don't regret a thing, though, because it was all part of my maturation process. I am more cautious with my money and my crypto portfolio right now, and I believe that I will be playing my game this bull market and the bear market that will follow once BTC peaks again way better than I did for the past few years.
What's your story?
Thanks for your attention,
Adrian
