"The 23rd summit of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), held virtually in New Delhi, represented History in the making: three BRICS (Russia, India, China), plus Pakistan and four Central Asian “stans” (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan), finally and formally, welcomed the Islamic Republic of Iran as a permanent member".
"And next year will be Belarus’ turn, as confirmed by India’s First Deputy Foreign Minister Vinay Kvatra. Belarus and Mongolia took part in the 2023 summit as observers, and fiercely independent Turkmenistan, as a guest".

The world is on the brink of "dedollarization" by nations like BRICS and similar organizations, and there's not a damn thing you or I can do about it. Even the powers in charge in America are powerless, and it's about time the dollar's hegemony gets weakened. Some folks would love to see it flushed down the toilet, but I highly doubt that will ever happen.
Countries like Iran, suffocated by the infamous US sanctions, are undoubtedly open to exploring alternative currencies for international trade and forging new paths for exchanging commodities between nations.

Commerce routes are bound to be reshaped, and a currency war lies ahead of us. I don't anticipate a clear winner in this game; the dollar ain't going anywhere. However, some of its hegemonic power will vanish once BRICS gets serious about their plans. There's even talk of a gold-backed ruble on the horizon.
That sounds intriguing, but I'm more interested in Bitcoin and decentralized blockchains like Hive. Regardless of how "evil" America may be, I have my doubts that Russia, China, or even India are any better. Personally, I have no desire to live in America, but I wouldn't flock to China, Russia, or India either. I stand for decentralization, freedom of speech, trade, travel, and a world guided by common sense.
This entire shitshow with BRICS nations attempting to destabilize the dollar is just an elite game. None of the potential outcomes will ever benefit us, not a single one. However, applied decentralized blockchain technology, DAOs, platforms like Hive, DEXs, and the freedom that these digital economies offer are a whole different story.
Sure, when the dollar weakens, we may see fewer sanctioned countries and wars concocted by America, but that doesn't mean we've magically landed in a fairytale world. These world leaders who point fingers at each other are all cut from the same cloth. The problem is that when they're on the losing side, they'll band together like sheep to slay the wolf, but once victorious, they'll grow sharp, long teeth of their own.
I'm a simple-minded individual with limited understanding of how international economies function. However, I've grasped quite well that what Bitcoin and certain other blockchains offer is far superior to the traditional ways of conducting business and trade in this world.
That's why I believe we should focus more on the real-life utility of blockchain technology and not get caught up in excessive speculation. That's why my plan is to finally build a stake in Hive during the next bear market. It may sound strange and challenging, but I yearn for a world where we can buy goods with HBD, BTC, USDT, and conduct most of our business using blockchain technology.
It's not fair what America is doing with its warmongering and sanctions against countries that defy its political and economic views. But rest assured, if BRICS had the chance to step into America's shoes, they'd do the same damn thing. I'd wager China would be even worse in that regard. Cryptocurrency is neutral, purely based on math, and you can't go wrong with that.
What are your thoughts?
