Who would have thought we would see BTC under $19,000 again? I for sure wasn't in that position. I have not turned into a bull over the past few weeks, but I truly didn't believe the market and BTC will have another crash, but here we are...
BTC is struggling to hold $18,800 atm and the total market capitalization is under a trillion after a few good months of hovering slightly above that. There were some individuals calling for a new low lately, but I didn't believe this will happen.
I have never believed I will be sending crypto to "the wrong crypto address" either, and here I am having sent 130 of my precious HIVE to Binance without filling a memo, or better said the correct memo.
Yes, I wanted to sell them, yes I'm a dumper, I'm a milker, I'm an idiot... What else can I say... Bla Bla.
I usually pay attention to such transfers and I also double-check before actually sending funds, but last night I got carried away by the panic and drama of BTC dumping and that cost me 130 HIVE, worth about $60 at the moment of writing.
Losing $60 worth of HIVE during the bear market sure feels bitter, but I will console myself with the fact that I have once lost $2,500 with LUNA in just one day. It's like this is not the first time I do dumb stuff.
No rush has ever pushed anyone to do something good and what's quite obvious from the transaction history regarding my transfer is the fact that I have not copied and pasted the correct memo in order to have these HIVE in my Binance account. I have actually pasted the Hive address of Binance in the memo section as well.
I guess it was more at hand to do that than to copy and paste an actual memo in that transfer filling instead of the damn address and having my HIVE properly sent :). Too late for regrets now, time to move on.
I literally have no clue what's going to happen with this 130 HIVE, whether they're burned, held by Binance, or whatever. It's sad, I regret not paying attention more to the transfer, but that's how blockchain works, you can't reverse messing up with it.
