How Financially Resilient You Consider Yourself To Be?

Not long ago I wrote a post about debt, actually living in debt, and tackled the situation of the Germans, whom from what I seen when I was living in the country, back in 2015-2016, are so in debt that they can't afford to strike much or to rise themselves against the system, because the "bank owns them" and it's cleverly designed this system for decades in a row.

I had NEVER EVER taken money from the bank, or used credit, because I've never got pilled by their tactics of "buy now and pay later", or better said "buy now for X amount of cash and pay in five years with almost double the amount you borrowed". I simply lived below my means.

I have always considered myself to be quite independent and always had the "backpack ready" to move if a place would no longer fit me. I have never been tied to any place in my country and neither have I been a slave to it. I've lived so far in two different ones, Germany and Norway and I'll probably move again in the future.

IMF, World Bank & 10 Countries Held Alarming "Simulation" Of Global Financial System Collapse. Hmmm, why would they do that just now when there's so much social unrest, when we have a pandemic that's almost two years old and is destroying many of the world's economies, when inflation is bubbling and when individuals might have the technology at hand to actually disrupt governments and banks?...

Per the above report, the supposed catalyst of such a collapse might be a hack and a take over the media by some group of hackers that would take the markets down and succumb the global financial system... Interesting enough, and tbh I would really love to see that happening during my life time. The centralized powers dictating our lives have gone too far in such a short time span.

I personally wouldn't mind such a collapse because I find myself resilient enough to handle it. I am not wealthy at all, but I always had some savings that would get me through a year or so without the need to work or earn any money in any way, some of these savings being now in crypto.

I don't know how well would crypto would do and what use case it might have when and if such a financial collapse would occur, but I'd take the risk. Some part of my brain also tells me that during such an event we would probably see one of the most aggressive mass adoption for cryptocurrency. Look at Venezuela and how vital Bitcoin is for these people...

Turkey is witnessing a resurgence in cryptocurrency trades of above one million per day due to a continuous devaluation of the country's currency and El Salvador would also be a good example of a country who's not doing great economically, but changes that for the better thanks to Bitcoin. Oh, btw, the president of El Salvador bought 21 more Bitcoins earlier today.

Why? Because yesterday the date was 21.12.21, the 21st day of the last month of the 21st year of the 21st century... and El Salvador seems to be 21,000 square kilometers... Just some numerology shit that made the famous president to add 21 more Bitcoin to the national treasury.

What about you, have you thought of such events such as the global financial collapse and how financially resilient do you consider yourself to be in general?

Thanks for attention,
Adrian
