Have you ever wondered why the politicians and many other "government and central bank officials" are reading their speeches off a prompter or a piece of paper that's sitting in front of their eyes?
It's because they're dictated what to say... The clowns that we call presidents, ministers of foreign affairs, and whatever other positions such bozos are in are not leading on their own... They "don't own their decisions". These are dictated.
Yesterday, Jerome Powel, the 16th chair of the Federal Reserve since 2018, tackled the topic of CBDCs and how such a digital crap should look like for the American people. It's going to have four main characteristics and none would replicate what Monero or ZCash does...
So, according to Jerome Powel, the CBDC that the central bank is thinking of, will have to: be intermediated by the central bank of course, and not some decentralized blockchain, be privacy protected(:)), identity verifiable("it would not be anonymous) and transferable and interoperable...
The main takeaway, which I have kept on rambling about on this blog for so long is that these rat-poison digital currencies that the governments/central banks are up to, are not going to be anonymous at all... As a matter of fact, if and when these will become a reality we will probably say bye bye to any privacy we once used to have.
Google is spying on you, your doorbell made by Amazon does that too, Facebook does it and it's so in your face and soon we will have cash as being a hell of a spy for us citizens as well. One could ask now: bank accounts aren't tied to our identity as well?
Yes, they are, but no one can have any trace of your cash once you withdraw it from an ATM and start spending it. You can throw these bills on drugs, hookers, potatoes, crypto, ice cream, you name it... It's yours and you can do whatever the fuck you want with it.
Well, it's not actually yours, cuz cash is issued by the same entities we mentioned above, but for the sake of the purpose of this paragraph let's say that at least you can have some sort of privacy when spending it.
CBDCs are just getting started to be talked about more seriously by the officials and be sure they're going to come to a country next to you pretty soon. Australia’s central bank partnered with the DFCRC to introduce a White Paper of its CBDC. I'm not baffled about this one at all. Australia is the new China unless Trudeau is kicked out of the office.
ECB chief Lagarde says she does not like to see a new period of "free banking" due to cryptocurrencies. Central bank digital currencies (CBDC) are required to maintain the role of central banks. Can you feel the despair in their voice and attitude?
U.S. Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell urged lawmakers to be cautious when regulating decentralized finance (DeFi) while speaking at a roundtable conference organized by the central bank of France on Sept. 27. I want to see them regulating CUB...
Now, I'm probably the least one to be talking DeFi, but I don't see how these fuckers will ever get to regulate decentralized finance and tbh decentralized finance is our last resort in preserving our privacy and freedom that is eaten up by the day by the power and control hungry elites.
CBDCs are clownery. They took the core concept of crypto currencies from decentralized blockchain technology, but as usual, they "turn it upside down" and are now trying to use it further to strengthen their control over us. That's about it for now. I hope everyone is having a fantastic day and see ya later.
Thanks for your attention,
