Blockchain-based voting is a new topic that researchers are evaluating. Recently, several articles in reputable journals have addressed this topic; because online voting has a high potential to reduce organizational costs, increase voter participation, increase transparency in vote counting, build trust, and avoid wasting time and traffic.
Despite all these advantages, officials are very cautious in this regard. Because the use of the Internet is a serious threat to the entire election process. Just one weakness can lead to widespread vote manipulation.
Another concern is the transparency, accuracy, immutability, and security of voting systems.
Obviously, a centralized government database cannot be trusted. Blockchain technology, with its efficiency of nodes, miners, and consensus algorithms, is definitely a good option to respond to these concerns. Blockchain is transparent, decentralized, and untraceable, and with advantages such as privacy protection and transaction speed, it can become a new way of voting.
Using blockchain, it is possible to closely monitor the election process. The information of each vote is stored in blocks in an immutable manner and shared between nodes. Therefore, no one can ever vote twice with the same identity, nor can anyone manipulate the election results. Since blockchain is decentralized, the possibility of sabotage and hacking is close to zero.

Launch of Blockchain Voting System in South Korea
The head of the Suzhou prefecture in South Korea called for the launch of a blockchain-based voting system for the citizens of the region and praised the developments related to the world of cryptocurrency and crypto.
According to Updown Korea, Cho Eun-hee, the leader of the local government of one of the most prosperous areas of Seoul, believes that the time has come to start using blockchain technology. So every citizen can easily express their opinions in this type of voting.
The government official from Seocho, referring to recent decentralized innovations as the “fourth industrial revolution,” urged the country to play a greater role in our rapidly changing modern society in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
If the proposal becomes a reality, it would be the first blockchain platform that allows citizens to decide local political affairs. Cho also stated that blockchain technology is the best option to enhance the democracy of society.
“In the future, we aim to realize a direct democracy that everyone can trust by introducing blockchain to prevent security and counterfeiting, and to this end, various businesses such as the Blockchain Academy, which combines blockchain and management, and the Smart Senior Business, have been implemented.”
The government official believes that the region’s efforts can be “the foundation for blockchain adoption” nationwide, and such a platform can allow citizens to participate in a secure political discourse (voting).
In April, Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance Ko Jun-cheol said that the blockchain market is a “golden opportunity” for the country. He also urged private companies across South Korea to take advantage of this potential.

How to use blockchain in digital marketing?
Advertising companies spend a lot of money on advertising, while these ads may be considered annoying and annoying by many users. By using blockchain, advertisements are presented in an effective, low-cost, and targeted manner, making them interesting and attractive for both parties to the advertisement; the user and the advertising company.
With blockchain technology, users can selectively receive ads and receive a protocol token reward for clicking and viewing them in a blockchain browser. An example of a blockchain-based browser is the Brave browser, which blocks web ads by default and allows selective advertising to be displayed by applying a filter.
Another challenge in the digital marketing space is fake and fake clicks made by bots, which can cost advertising companies a lot of money. Using decentralized blockchain servers, digital ads can be directly monitored and avoid paying for fake clicks.
