Satoshi

Let's talk about Sats, baby....

We can't talk about Sats without a shout out to the Lightning Network - There are a number of excellent articles on Publish0x about the Lightning Network and stacking Sats - so here is one more which I hope will add to the ever increasing knowledge and information....

BTC Lightning Network

The Lightning Network for me is one of the most significant advancements for the Bitcoin network. It allows for swift transactions that do not consume any space on the blockchain (from what I understand), while maintaining all of the blockchain's features such as censorship-resistance and trustlessness. Although Lightning still has room for growth and enhancement in terms of technological stability and adoption, it has already demonstrated itself as a solution for inexpensive, trustless payments.

I don't speak with naysayers regarding Crypto, particularly those who think that Bitcoin is a scam...blah..blah.. however, those who do listen, often ask me about HODL'ing BTC, how would it work considering on-chain transaction costs a bit and how would they go about their daily business using BTC as a payment method - so with a smile, I get them to download a Lightning Network Wallet - in my case Wallet Of Satoshi and send them some Sats, easy peasy, the speed of the whole process, from downloading the app to receiving/sending Sats never fails to impress.😎

Wallet Of Satoshi

By the time Hyperbitcoinisation happens (If! and When? is a regular question I get asked - gotta have the faith and belief!), I believe Sats and the Lightning Network will be instrumental in spreading the message and enabling mass adoption and usage due to it's speed, ease of use and lowwww transaction fees. More and more developments are taking place, with more usage capabilities - recently I've read about developments on the Lightning Network which will allow the transfer of Altcoin assets, exciting stuff!

Without further ado - Where can you stack your Sats from?, a quick search on Publish0x will give you a number of quality articles pointing you towards where you could stack sats from, all worth checking out. I wasn't around or aware of the advent of Crypto via BTC when it first happened, like many of us, but I think Sats are one of today's opportunities, which could potentially have me kicking myself in the future if I don't pay attention, so start stacking!

Where do I get mine from? I'm glad you asked, anywhere I can!.

I like to play games on my phone, as I spend a lot of time travelling for work and waiting....yes, waiting, well, why not earn while I wait, recently I have downloaded a few games from THNDR Games  Available on Android and Apple devices, you can earn Sats by simply playing the games.

THNDR

THNDR Games are a company that provides mobile game apps which allow you to earn bitcoin by playing games and withdraw it to your Lightning wallet. You collect tickets while you play, and these are entered into a prize draw every 59 mins, the jackpot grows via all other players and when the timers up, you get your Sats, luck of the draw is that you could win anything from 1 Sat to the entire pot!, albeit, I haven't won the entire Jackpot yet, however, I get between 1 and 100 sats (so far) every time I play. I like that there is no minimum withdrawal and that you are forced to claim your Sats to your Lightning Wallet of choice every 4 days, or they expire, which isn't to shabby for twiddling your thumbs. The current list of games are:

Tetro TilesTetro Tiles - Think Tetris with a twist! it's addictive! and has the highest jackpot and users.

Club Bitcoin Solitaire Bitcoin Solitaire - Play Classic Solitaire while earning Bitcoin!

Turbo 84Turbo 84 - Drive as fast as you can through an insane bitcoin lane changing game.

Bitcoin BounceBitcoin Bounce - The goal of the game is to see how far you can bounce along the blockchain.

Satsss Bitcoin SnakeSatsss Bitcoin Snake - One of the most popular mobile games in the world now rewards you with sats!

Bitcoin BayBitcoin Bay - a relaxing seaside Bitcoin Bubble Shooter to win bitcoin.

There are more games appearing which reward you with Sats, but these are the ones I have played so far - just not enough time in the day for all of them!

Apart from games - which I could waste just far too much of my time playing!, the following are where I get Sats on a daily basis for doing the things I generally like doing, daily activities and increasing my knowledge of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Magazine App

Bitcoin Magazine App - Read, Learn and Earn Bitcoin. A brilliant source of daily information on the world of Bitcoin. Earns Sats by reading articles and increasing your knowledge on Bitcoin developments.

sMiles

sMiles - Get free Bitcoin rewards for walking, shopping, playing games, and surveys. I earn Sats daily from walking/running, playing Chess, daily tasks (Spin the wheel!) and taking surveys which pay anything from 200 to 800 Sats.

Fountain.fm

Fountain.fm - A great Podcast platform, with a lot of content, different subjects, with something for everyone. If you like listening to Podcasts, then I highly recommend this platform. Listeners and podcasters get rewarded with Sats!, easy to use, Earn for your first hour of daily podcast listening. Your rate changes every day and is completely random. You earn more by listening to promotions from podcasters and advertisers.

Stacker News

Stacker News is a forum (like Reddit or Hacker News) where you can earn real money for creating or curating content. It is a great place for like minded people to share information, articles, opinions and LEARN all about Bitcoin. You can create and post content, which will earn you Sats from Tips and also given sats daily which come from ~jobs, posting/commenting fees, and boost fees.

Sats4Likes

Sats4Likes - Earn Sats for doing various tasks like Liking, Retweeting posts on Twitter, liking and subscribing to YouTube content.

These are just some of the ways I earn Sats everyday, religiously!. It's become a (somewhat positive) addiction, I definitely learn something new everyday while earning Sats. I know there are many more Apps and places you can earn free Sats, for doing everything from clicking a button at regular intervals, to watching ads, playing games, taking surveys and moving. All worth checking out, as you are probably doing most things, so why not stack yourself some Sats while doing them.

I hope you all get some real value from this post, I have personally used all the above platforms, and have earned and withdrawn Sats to my Lightning Wallet without any issues - some of them have a minimum withdrawal (easily attainable) and for full disclosure, I have included my referral in the links above, so if you do decide to check them out, I would be eternally grateful if you use me.... well, not use me, but use my links :)

Thank you for reading!

PS: please be gentle, it's my first post.

Hanged, Drawn and Quartered, still here.

One of the first things most people ask when I mention my interest in 'Crypto' is, 'How much money have you lost?'. Now, I could start with the horror stories of all the things I had to learn the hard way, the scams, THE SCAMS!, losing coins/tokens to wrong addresses, wrong networks, Lies, Ponzi Schemes, Misinformation/Disinformation from so called influencers, fraudulent exchanges, and a general feeling of living in the Wild West - I do start with these, and end with 'I'm still investing in Crypto'
