The future of privacy cryptos is being shaped right now

It's no secret privacy has been under attack for over 2 decades now. Equally so has crypto been attacked and slandered so to many of us it was like clockwork when we started to see the full scale "free media" propaganda against privacy crypto and the shameless authoritarian crackdown on its protocols and developers.

But why talk about this now? Because after US citizens were effectively cut off from Binance and this "Binance US" thing was set up where all privacy cryptos were mysteriously absent, Brussels is well underway in forcing Binance to make all the listed privacy cryptos unavailable to citizens trapped in the EU. Let's follow the paper trail back to the EU shall we because even though there hasn't been a formal law yet, Belgium was the latest country where Binance could no longer offer coins like Monero to Belgium citizens.

And before Belgium there was this:

Which of course was the sequel of this:

All of which should make us stop and ask ourselves: What will the future hold for privacy cryptos? It's questions like this in times like these that can ultimately make a big difference to both your privacy and portfolio. Wait a little bit longer and you can no longer get you some XMR anymore, not without a lengthy detour, bigger risks and extra costs anyway. There's always ZCASH of course which is still widely available on even Coinbase, but come on.

In the short term this will not be all that beneficial to the price of privacy focused cryptos, in the long term, this might just make some of them desired and hence more valuable than ever before. But how will that work when they have cut them off from CEXes and fiat you ask? I'm not sure but lest we forget, before we could directly convert 💩coins to cash, we were already converting cryptos to cryptos without anyone's approval.

I read an interesting post on this exact topic here just yesterday so if anyone has any experience with that particular exchange please do share because it would be wise to diversify our options as much as possible when it comes to crypto privacy. Like we said before, we do not have ill intentions nor are we criminals for wanting privacy, we do so to protect ourselves from those who do have ill intentions and want to track us down both online and in the real world.

Ohh, and in case you are one of those "I am not doing anything illegal so government tracking is OK by me",  I am not doing anything illegal either yet government tracking is not OK by me.

Things are almost never as they seem. If you sincerely think that world powers would spend their money and resources in order to just "help" citizens from foreign nations, you might want to ask yourself why they've been neglecting and out right murdering their own citizens for decades. What are their true motives for wanting to fund foreign (terror) groups, start global confrontations and wars? I'll let you in on a little secret; It has NOTHING to do with "human rights" nor "democracy".
